This is a pretty bold look and I gotta say, I love it! I can’t really imagine seeing a woman walking around downtown in Vancouver wearing this, but to the right event, this would definitely be eye-catching in a good way. The sheer embroidered skirt is really just so beautiful, and the sharp shoulders on that beautiful blue velvet blazer give just the right amount of severity along with the bondage-y high-waisted belt.

I know, cable knit sweaters AGAIN. I cannot help it, I love them! I just bought a beautiful knit sweater in navy blue and I want to wear it all day every day! I like the idea of wearing a lightweight one on a cool summer day like this woman; I’ve always regulated them to purely cold-weather wear!

Ohhhh I do love sheer frocks. These sort of almost matronly cut dresses - buttoned up right to the neck, hemmed to the knee and with long sleeves - but in a sheer fabric with a slinky little slip of a dress underneath.

I am so bummed that I lost my beautiful raven-skull pendant after only buying it this summer. Mine was about 1 1/2 xs the size of this girls’, and I loved it so much! I hope I can replace it, but it was expensive!

Ok I’m going to ignore the bad creasing on the front of this woman’s dress (happens to us all!) and focus on that beautiful sheer robe! This looks like such a ‘bedroom’ piece, and perhaps it is! But she’s made it look clean and sophisticated instead of vampy and lingerie-ish.

Ahhh, Alice Burdeu. I love that her pop of colour in this outfit is her hair. It’s such a glorious shade of red. That coat is perfection, and those knee-high lace-up boots! They look like Docs to me, but I’m not 100% sure. Topped off with a pristine white beanie over those red locks, this look makes me excited for winter dressing.

These embroidered jackets exploded really huge with that f/w 06-07 season of Dolce and Gabbana and I just love them so much, I’m so glad they’re still lingering around. I am a sucker for sartorial period references and these jackets satisfy that nostalgic urge perfectly!

This is a really interesting, bold look. The tailoring is all very masculine and clean, but the colours are very intense and eye-catching. Those trousers are fantastic, and I loveeee the cuffs on that blazer.
